The “Malisagkos – Christomanos and Partners” law firm was created from the combination of two law firms, each with a different legal orientation:
Early on in his professional carrier, Anastasios K. Malisagkos started working in his own law firm in Ermou 18, Thessaloniki. He worked almost exclusively in the field of administrative law and over time, specialized in claiming compensation for civilian and military personnel (active or retired), in dealing with legal cases concerning members of both the armed and the security services, in solving fiscal matters, as well as in the pre- and post-contractual controlling of public procurements. More specifically, he was the first lawyer in Greece who claimed compensation for pension disputes and salary adjustments before the Court of Auditors.
Since 2003, Vassilios D. Christomanos has run a law firm with his partners in Komninon 14, Thessaloniki. His father (now a research assistant) worked there as a lawyer from 1967 to 2006. Since its opening 50 years ago, many lawyers and legal scientists (notaries, judges, academics) have started their professional careers there. Vassiliοs Christomanos is a self-employed lawyer whose previous experience is mostly with civil litigation cases (claims regarding occupational and road accidents, commercial law contracts, family disputes etc.) and criminal cases (crimes against humanity, physical integrity, honour, property etc.) In 2014, Vassilios Christomanos received the title of an accredited mediator.
In late 2014 we decided to combine the two law firms in order to meet the wider requirements of the legal profession and to ensure faster, more reliable and complete services to all the individuals and companies that trust us. While being adaptive to modern judicial practice, we staffed our law firm with experienced and motivated partners as well as with trainee lawyers. This enables us to provide direct and specialized services which are always based on the needs and interests of each client. Putting our professionalism and experience at our clients’ disposal, we are ready to offer hands-on assistance in resolving legal problems by strictly applying the principles of confidentiality, diligence and scientific ethics.
